Terms of Sale

This is a courtesy translation into English, provided for your convenience. The official and legally binding version is the one in Spanish.

Sample terms. They will be adapted to those of the dealership owner.

1. Purpose

These terms govern the sale and purchase of used vehicles offered by the owner to consumers and users.

2. Prices

All prices are shown in euros and include VAT, unless otherwise stated. Prices do not include registration, transfer or administrative agency (gestoría) costs, which will be communicated before the purchase.

3. Reservation and deposit

The customer may reserve a vehicle by paying a deposit. The deposit will be deducted from the final price. The conditions for refunding the deposit will be agreed in writing at the time of reservation.

4. Payment methods

Payment in cash, bank transfer and financing through partner institutions are accepted, subject to approval by the financial institution.

5. Warranty

Used vehicles sold by a professional to a consumer are covered by the legal warranty provided for under consumer protection legislation (with a minimum duration of one year). This warranty covers any lack of conformity in accordance with the law. The vehicle may also be covered by additional commercial warranties, which will be specified in each case.

6. Delivery and documentation

Delivery will take place once the agreed payment has been completed. The owner will provide the vehicle's documentation and will assist with the change of ownership procedure and the valid roadworthiness test (ITV).

7. Right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases made in person. In the case of distance contracts, the consumer will be entitled to the time limits and rights provided for under the applicable legislation.

8. Complaints

The owner keeps official complaint forms (hojas de reclamaciones) available to the consumer. In addition, the European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
