Do General Car's cars come with a warranty?
Yes. All our used cars are sold with the minimum 1-year legal warranty required by law in Spain when buying from a professional, which covers defects of conformity. Many vehicles also include extended warranties on the engine and gearbox. We set everything out for you in writing before the purchase.
Can I finance my car?
Of course. We offer financing of up to 96 months tailored to your budget, with or without a down payment. We help you choose the term and the monthly payment that suit you best, always comparing by APR so you know the real cost. Check the financing section or ask Carmen.
Can I test drive the car before buying it?
Yes, and we recommend it. You can book a test drive at our showroom in Castellón. Message us on WhatsApp from the contact page or ask Carmen, our virtual assistant, at any time.
Are the cars inspected?
All our vehicles undergo a prior inspection before being put up for sale and are delivered with a valid roadworthiness test (ITV). You can ask us for the latest inspection report and the maintenance history.
Do you deliver the car to my home?
Yes, we offer home delivery for your convenience. Ask us about the conditions depending on your location when you complete the purchase.
Do you take my current car in part exchange?
Yes. We appraise your car and deduct its value from the price of the vehicle you buy. It is the most convenient way to change your car: you reduce the amount you finance and save yourself the hassle of selling it on your own. You can read more in our financing guide.
What documentation do you provide with the car?
All the paperwork in order: registration certificate, technical data sheet (ITV card), the vehicle's DGT report, proof of road tax payment and the keys. In addition, we can handle the change of ownership for you. More details in our guide on buying with a warranty.
Can I reserve a car?
Yes. You can reserve the car you are interested in while you decide or complete the financing, so that no one gets ahead of you. Ask us about the reservation conditions on WhatsApp or through Carmen.
What languages can you assist me in?
Our virtual assistant Carmen assists you in Spanish and English, 24 hours a day. At the showroom we assist you in person in Spanish and English.
